About Rachel

I am a white immigrant settler and cisgender woman who is licensed to provide mental health therapy services for individuals who are located on the ancestral, traditional, and unceded territories of the Indigenous and First Nations Peoples across British Columbia and Alberta, Canada. I work with clients to move beyond painful experiences and feelings of confusion, burnout, shame and inadequacy. I support you as you uncover an understanding of yourself, your voice, your power, and the life you want to live, using evidence-based practices. Together, we will explore your experiences and the impacts of personal/familial/cultural expectations on the various roles you fill in your life. The results of these expectation can look like overwhelming pressures of perfectionism, disconnection from our lives, disconnection from others, withdrawal, and burnout.

All sessions are grounded in values of social justice and equity. I aim to provide trauma-informed, strength-based, neurodiverse, and identity-affirming approaches to my work. We will work collaboratively to disrupt deficit-oriented perspectives on mental health and neurodivergence while enhancing self-awareness and acceptance, well-being, confidence, mental health, and relationships. While many clients who work with me identify as and/or were raised as women, I work with many LGBTQ2SIA+ clients, including non-binary and gender diverse peoples.
